Marotta's Future

Marotta continues to support its traditional markets with fluid control systems and components, while branching out to provide better solutions to new and existing fluid control problems.

Pneumatic Ejection

Military aircraft of the future will be using Marotta valve/accumulator manifolds to store and control the high-pressure air used to eject weapons from internal and external weapons pods. Clean compressed air promises greatly reduced maintenance compared to current squib designs.

Smart Valve Systems

We are incorporating “smart” technologies in valves for the autonomous systems of the future Navy. Smart systems offer enhanced control in the event of damage to the network.

Airborne Laser

Marotta valves control the high-powered chemical laser under development to protect us from ballistic missiles. The unique challenges of this application include the pure iodine and high temperature line fluids.

Miniaturization

New satellites and aircraft place a premium on weight and space. Marotta has invested heavily to develop fluid controls and electronic controllers for these advanced new platforms in the space and aerospace markets.
