Flexibility of a stand-alone 3-way, 2-position configuration or multiple assembly is featured with the MV-74MM's symmetrical body. With this building block concept, designers can mix and match MV-74MM valves for 3-way, 3-position; 4-way, 3-position, or various multi-functional system applications. Hundreds of different systems can be built using only five basic MV-74MMs.
The MV-74MM features a precision balanced poppet moving between two soft, bubble-tight seals. This original Marotta design permits the use of a small, lightweight solenoid or it allows fingertip operation of the manually actuated model. Since the net pressure forces acting on the valving element equals zero (balanced poppet), up to 6,000 psi may be applied in any one or combinations of the three ports.
