M-CRAFT - Corrosion Resistant
Advanced Fluid Technology

Reduces the Corrosive Effects of Seawater
Marotta is addressing the challenges of seawater corrosion with our new line of corrosion resistant composite valves - M-CRAFT Corrosion Resistant Advanced Fluid Technology.
Up to 66% Lighter
These new, lightweight corrosion resistant composite valves eliminate the effects of the harsh seawater environment and can weigh just one-third of their metal counterparts. The valves can operate in a wide variety of naval systems, from a ship's firefighting and damage control, to chilled water, deluge and vessel fuel supply lines.
Withstands Shock and Vibe, and is Fire Retardant
M-CRAFT corrosion resistant composite valves can withstand shock, vibration and heavy use as well as their metal counterparts. Significantly, the composite material has superior corrosion resistant characteristics and is fire retardant. This new material virtually extends the service life of the valve for nearly as long as the ship itself. Our composite valve has passed preliminary API607 Burn Tests.
Materials
We use several different composite material classes in the manufacturing of composite parts for our valves. We select the material that best fits our customer's needs by reviewing pressure rating, line media, environmental conditions, frequency of operation, configuration of the composite part, environmental test requirements (i.e. shock and vibration testing requirements), and operating temperature.
These composite materials have passed preliminary API607 Burn Tests.
