Marotta Introduces MPACT® PURE AIR COMPRESSION TECHNOLOGIES
A NEW generation of High-Pressure Pure Air Generators “HPPAG”
Marotta has applied its expertise in high-pressure
fluid controls to the emerging demand for on-board pneumatic
systems. The experience gained as a supplier of innovative control
solutions to the world’s military aerospace community places Marotta
at the forefront in the development of pneumatic technologies for weapons
systems.
MPACT Pure Air Compression Technology is a clean, sustainable
energy source that is setting the new standard of performance as DoDs
and MoDs are shift from yesterday’s tools of conventional warfare, such
as pyrotechnics and volatile chemicals, to today’s more sophisticated high-pressure
pneumatics.
- MPACT-3000 Pure Air Generating System for IR missile seeker cooling provides
a continuous on-board supply of high-pressure pure air designed specifically
for the cooling of infra-red missile seekers. A direct replacement for
nitrogen canisters, the MPACT’s constant air regeneration eliminates the
need for nitrogen refill. (Selected by NAVAIR for use in the LAU-7/LAU-127
Launcher on the F/A-18)
- MPACT-6000 Pure Air Generating System for pneumatic weapon ejection provides
a reliable source of high-pressure pure air which delivers accurate weapon
separation, every time. Compact, clean and lightweight, the MPACT replaces
pyrotechnic devices. (Selected by Boeing for weapon ejection on the P-8A
Poseidon)
MPACT is also suitable for a variety of future applications, from the
Joint-Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) to the Multi-Purpose Bomb Rack (MPBR).

Micro-Compressor
