APPLICATIONS

Marotta manifolds are of single block or "building block" construction, and all valving is plug-in type. Based on the manifold chosen, the unit can accommodate some or all of the following:

A variety of configurations, materials, pressure ranges, flows, fittings, etc., are available to meet specific customer requirements.  Each manifold type is capable of numerous pressure settings and various flow rates.  The pressure reducers are designed to MIL-V-2961 and the pressure relief valve to MIL-V-22549. The manifolds meet shock (MIL-S-901C) and vibration (MIL-STD-167) environments.

OPERATING DESCRIPTION

Line fluid enters the manifold through the inlet shut-off valve. Flow passes through the filter, pressure regulator, outlet shut-off valve and into the system. The manifolds are designed for easy servicing during operation. To change the filter or service the regulator, close both shut-off valves (bleed trapped pressure if necessary). An orifice may be installed at the inlet shut-off valve to limit flow through the manifold. The limit is in accordance with customer requirements.
