APPLICATIONS
The compact PRV920 relief valve is designed for aircraft hydraulic systems. It is in service in the aileron secondary flight control system on the F-18E/F.

OPERATING DESCRIPTION

The PRV920 Part Number 284210-000X is a cartridge type press-fit relief valve. It is used for hydraulic oil and has an adjustable set pressure range of 5000-6000 psig. Flow rate is approximately 1.2 gpm at 7000 psig. The CRES 440C spring-loaded poppet holds a ceramic ball against a hard metal CRES 440C seat, providing long life and a tight seal.
