APPLICATIONS
|
The
modular design concept of the MV74MM makes it
possible to design and build production systems,
brass-board arrangements or test set-ups by
using the same valves for each application. The
high efficiency of Marotta’s directional
control valve allows them to be used in a wide
range of applications such as:

OPERATING
DESCRIPTION
|
|
In
the de-energized position, Port “A” is
blocked by the poppet, which is held against the
normally closed seat by the poppet return
spring. Port “B” is directly open to Port
“C”, permitting free flow in either
direction.
With voltage applied, the solenoid armature
assembly moves the poppet away from the normally
closed seat and onto the normally open seat.
Now, Port “A” and Port “C” are
interconnected and Port “B” is sealed from
Port “C”.
The valves are a balanced poppet design,
requiring a relatively small solenoid actuator.
This feature conserves power and minimizes the
space required for installation. |
