The high efficiency of Marotta’s 2-Way, 2-Position valves allows them to be used in a wide range of applications such as:
 

OPERATING DESCRIPTION

When the normally closed valve is In the de-energized position, flow from Port “A” to Port “B” is blocked by the poppet. The poppet is held against the seat by the return spring. In the energized position, the solenoid armature moves the poppet away from the seat and allows flow from Port “A” to Port “B” (Energized Position). A normally open version is also available.

The valves are a balanced poppet design, requiring a relatively small solenoid actuator. This feature conserves power and minimizes the space required for installation.
